2018 is drawing to a close, and this has everyone talking about what they plan on doing differently in 2019. We all want to lose weight, get to the gym more often, that stuff is a given. Life in the Hudson Valley requires something a bit different than the usual, mundane list of NYE resolutions, easily made and just as easily broken. Here’s what Hudson Valley residents put on their NYE List:
1- Shop locally more often. Amazon is excellent, but nothing beats that cool boutique (looking at you Hamilton & Adams) or the local hardware store for personal service and local flair.
2- Eat locally more often. The Hudson Valley is where New York State’s farm to table movement began, and it just keeps getting better all the time.
3- Explore locally. The Hudson Valley is home to a giant kaleidoscope, the best hiking anywhere, and the only accredited zoo located in a high school anywhere.
There are two resolutions that we are hoping to see on everyone’s list this year, insuring locally and talking to their insurance agent at least once a year.
Did you know that the Hudson Valley is home to some of the best insurance companies? When you keep it local, everyone wins!
Talking to your agent once a year means that you are never left underinsured or overinsured. We want to ensure that your assets are adequately protected and we don’t want you to pay more than you have to for any of it.
May 2019 bring you joy, good health, and outstanding insurance coverage! Happy New Year Hudson Valley, keep on keeping it local.
