Go visit soon because the Children’s Museum will be closed for renovations from September 8th thru September 11th. Tickets are $8 for adults and children too. Take a walk or a bike ride on the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world! There’s 1.28 miles of beautiful Hudson River scenery and benches to sit down on too. The Walkway is accessible in Poughkeepsie and Highland.
Take a cruise on the Hudson River with your family! There are few things in the Hudson Valley that are as gorgeous as a Hudson river cruise. You can take a family cruise during the day or leave the little one’s with a sitter and take a romantic dinner cruise. Cruises leave from the Poughkeepsie waterfront. Make sure you purchase your tickets online, you’ll be charged $5 more per person if you purchase the tickets on site.
